Qdos Technology today (Thursday, 4th February, 2010) announced the investment of Chris Morris, the founder of Computershare, in the Melbourne based internet software business.
The investment of Chris Morris represents a significant interest in the Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) business, an investment that is well received by Qdos Technology’s management team.
“Qdos is extremely pleased with the investment announcement. Chris is a partner of unparalleled success in the IT industry in Australia and has a solid belief in the value proposition of the internet delivery model. We are excited about the year ahead, and the active involvement of Chris in 2010 and beyond.”
Chris Morris commented on his investment, “My introduction to Qdos was through a recent acquisition in the retail wine industry. Following a detailed review of their IT systems which included Qdos, I was extremely impressed with breadth, integration & usability of the software platform. It’s a proposition that’s hard to argue when looking at the total cost of ownership of disparate systems in contrast to an internet based integrated solution. I look forward to being a part of its successful expansion."
