GN Netcom’s innovative headset solutions are critical enablers in successful customer end-user adoption of Unified Communications
Singapore / Malaysia / Indonesia / Thailand / Philippines, 14 December 2009 – GN Netcom, a world leader in innovative headset solutions, announces that its brand Jabra has won the Frost & Sullivan 2009 World Customer Value Enhancement Award for the Enterprise Headset Market. The company has received the award for its range of multiuse headsets, which includes the Jabra PRO 9400 and Jabra GO 6400 Series.
“GN Netcom has a diverse end-to-end portfolio that has continuously evolved to satisfy the needs of its customer base. GN Netcom’s innovative solutions act as a critical enabler for the adoption of Unified Communications by the end-users, hence creating and adding value for the customers,” said Manoj Menon, Partner and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Frost & Sullivan.
The Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Enhancement Award is bestowed each year upon the company that has demonstrated excellence in implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers with a focus on improving the return on the investment that customers make in its services or products. Based on Frost & Sullivan analysis, Jabra ranked the highest based on its ability to enhance the value that its customers receive from its innovative range of solutions, beyond simply good customer service, leading to improved customer retention and ultimately, customer base expansion.
“Frost & Sullivan's recognition of Jabra as the technology leader is a testament to our focus and determination to deliver innovative products to our customers throughout the region,” said Ralph Ede, Managing Director, South Asia, GN Netcom.
Mr. Ede noted, “Our technology and innovation have been focused on simplifying the integration of desktop, mobile and telephony communications, thereby enhancing collaboration and improving overall business process efficiency. We are delighted that Frost & Sullivan has recognized the contribution we make – to enable the adoption of Unified Communications by end-users, and perhaps even more critical, to deliver on the promise of measurable business benefits.”
The award-winning multiuse headsets feature an industry-first touch screen interface that allows an easy way for the user to switch seamlessly between calls on mobile, desk and softphones. The Jabra GO 6400 and PRO 9400 use Bluetooth and DECT respectively which gives users the freedom to multi-task with maximum efficiency and answer phone calls up to 100m away from their desk and softphone. The integrated 2.4” color LCD display sets a new standard for usability. The screen helps users adjust headset settings and it provides a status on calls including caller’s phone number or indication of missed calls if someone tries to reach you on your softphone while you are on a mobile or desk phone call. The products employ the use of dual-microphones for noise reduction and have active sound-spike cancellation to protect hearing.
