The new engin hosted phone system offers the features and functionality of a full premise-based PBX system without the expense or complex maintenance, helping businesses to reduce their overheads and boost profits.

engin’s Head of Business Sales, Jack McKeon, said the launch of the hosted phone system is good news for small business.

The engin hosted phone system offers all the features you’d expect in an enterprise phone system, including free calls between offices, seamless transfer to mobile phones, voicemail to email, call parking, call pickup, hunt groups, call waiting, call return, multiple call forward options and automatic call back. It also offers full redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities, with the option for calls to be programmed to divert to an alternate number.

The hosted phone system is easy to install and maintain with a user-friendly web portal providing a simple way to handle software upgrades or change business locations, without the need for service technicians.

“We predict significant uptake of this new system as Australian businesses take advantage of the lower cost and greater functionality of Internet-based phone services,” McKeon said.
