Comprehensive Global Financial Capabilities Make Epicor the Clear Choice to Support SAI Global in 25 Countries

Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies, has announced that Australian company SAI Global Limited (ASX: SAI) has selected Epicor’s award winning, next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, Epicor 9, to support its growing global network across 25 countries.

With approximately eleven disparate ERP systems currently being used throughout the company, SAI Global made the decision to standardize on one centralised ERP platform, which could be used to support multiple business units, including Information Services, Compliance and Assurance.

Following an extensive tender and evaluation process, SAI Global selected Epicor largely due to the configuration capabilities of the solution’s financial modules, which among other core features, boasts multilingual and multicurrency support capabilities. Further, the adaptable business architecture of Epicor 9 satisfies SAI’s need to be able to deploy ERP across its organization, regardless of country, industry or device. This was a particularly strong selling point for SAI Global given they have offices in Canada, the USA, Asia and Europe. In addition, the company was impressed with Epicor’s ability to demonstrate rapid return on investment through a total cost of ownership model over five years.

SAI Global plans to roll out Epicor as part of a multi-phased strategy with primary focus on the company’s corporate division in addition to a number of its Melbourne-based businesses.
