SYDNEY, February 24. As part of its commitment to interoperability standards, Axway’s business-to-business (B2B) solutions have garnered additional certification from Drummond Group® for Applicability Statement 2 (AS2) interoperability.

In this latest round of testing, the AS2 Restart draft standard was launched based on Axway’s solution for transferring very large messages (VLM). The certification also included testing that incorporated Chunked Transfer Encoding (CTE) which allows messages to be split into multiple parts.

Originally co-authored by Axway, AS2 is a messaging standard for B2B e-commerce which forms the basis of communication between organisations in multiple industries. The combination of CTE and AS2 Restart eliminates the problem of sending VLM from one organisation to another.
