Novosoft announced that they have signed a distribution agreement with 1C Company, the leading software publisher in Russia and CIS countries. The partnership will increase the availability of Novosoft's flagship product Handy Backup in Eastern Europe.

Alliance, Ohio, February 2, 2010 – Novosoft, an international software development and IT-consulting company, today announced that it has partnered with 1C Company, one of the leading software distributors in Eastern Europe. Under the terms of the agreement, 1C Company will distribute Novosoft's Handy Backup™ product line through their partner network of dealers, resellers and online stores.

"Our first acquaintance with 1C Company was in 2006 when we released a Handy Backup plug-in for backing up 1C:Enterprise, their famous platform for business process automation," said Nataly Sigaeva, head of Novosoft marketing department. The distribution of Handy Backup via 1C Company's partner network enables Novosoft to not only expand the product's availability for end users, but also to reach the widest market of users of 1C: Enterprise which was reported to have over 1 million users in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia in 2009.
