Technology Releases - Workforce management

RP International has opened in Sydney to conslidate its industry-leading APAC reputation as a specialist telecoms recuitmnet consultancy in Australia and New Zealand.

Global telecoms recruitment specialist RP International has extended its APAC footprint with the establishment of a new office in Sydney, Australia.

RPI has been working across the Asia Pacific region for close to a decade and has supported operators, network vendors, handset vendors, mobile applications vendors, systems integrators, consultancies and regulatory authorities across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.

Following the establishment of an APAC regional hub in Singapore in 2007 and a contract-specialist office in Kuala Lumpur in 2009, this new office location will enable RPI to consolidate its ANZ business and provide a more efficient service to client and candidates.

Talking about the launch APAC Managing Director Chris Baker said:

“The opening of our Sydney office creates an exciting opportunity for us to provide a focused service to the Australian and New Zealand Telecoms markets.

The response from our many existing clients in the ANZ region has been positive and we hope that having a dedicated in-country team will enable us to provide them with an outstanding service offering that combines access to the best available local candidates and our international network of telecoms specialist professionals.”

Dean Armstrong, a member of the Singapore launch team who has moved to the Sydney office to assist in the start-up added:

“We believe that the skills and network we developed supporting organisations and projects across APAC will enable us to make a valuable contribution to the Australasian telecoms market.

Our experience of working on start ups, transformations and also supporting mature operations equips us to provide a full suite of services to clients. I look forward to working more closely with my current clients and building new relationships across the region.”
